The town of Famara is located at the western end of Famara beach. The town has a very relaxed and layed back beach style. From any rental apartment in Famara it is only a few minute walk to the beach.

The town itself has an ample supply of surf shops, a few mini supermarkets for your supplies, some cool bars and well priced restaurants. Once you arrive and find yourself somewhere to stay you will not really need to leave. The Kitesurf school will transport you to and from the actual Kitesurfing spot along the beach.

The apartments for rent in Famara vary in size from one bedroom up to three bedroom with some larger ones available. These are all priced for the budget Kitesurfer or surfer.

If you want to stay in a little more luxury then you can chose the Famara bungalows just along the road positioned more centrally up behind Famara beach. These original and beautiful curved shapes buildings are constructed on plots of 1,000m2 with glass fronts and sunset views. They prove very popular with families and larger groups.
